1. Product Overview
Centering Device in Front of Flying Shear for Strip Mill is essential front-end matching equipment for hot strip rolling lines. It works synchronously with flying shear to realize automatic dynamic centering and clamping of high-speed hot strip. The dual-side hydraulic synchronous clamping structure ensures uniform clamping force without scratching hot strip surface, which is widely used in medium and heavy plate, thin strip and flat steel continuous rolling workshops.

1. Heavy split welded frame: Thick steel plate integral welding + stress relief treatment, strong rigidity, no deformation under long-term 700-900℃ high temperature working environment.
2. Complete synchronous hydraulic system: Double groups of synchronous hydraulic cylinders, matched with wear-resistant high-temperature rubber hoses, independent oil circuit design to avoid oil leakage failure.
3. ZG+HICr high chromium wear-resistant contact parts: Sliding blocks and guide plates adopt high chromium cast iron, HRC58-65 high hardness, excellent anti-abrasion and thermal fatigue performance, low replacement frequency.
4. PLC closed-loop automatic control: Laser sensors real-time detect strip offset, servo interlock with flying shear, automatically adjust opening width following rolling speed, realize unmanned intelligent operation.
3. Working Principle
Laser position sensors at the inlet capture the edge position of hot strip continuously and calculate the offset value between strip center and rolling line center. The PLC controller sends adjustment signals to dual hydraulic servo valves, pushing left and right guide sliding seats to move symmetrically through internal gear rack synchronous mechanism. High chromium guide plates clamp the strip tightly to finish deviation correction, keeping the strip aligned with flying shear cutting center during conveying. After flying shear completes cutting action, hydraulic cylinders retract synchronously to release the strip and wait for the next feeding cycle.
